The Steward is responsible for setting up/breaking down banquets and buffets; removing soiled dishes and serving equipment; and monitoring tables during events to replenish food and tableware. The Steward is also responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and decorum. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of professionals and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Line Cook (Full-Time & Part-Time)
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals; maintaining established food quality standards and consistency of menu items; and adhering to state sanitation standards. Must have excellent knife skills, familiarity of duties in all areas of the kitchen and the ability to multi-task. Formal culinary education preferred.
Maintains cleanliness of pool and surrounding areas; assists members with pool and ocean equipment; assists with beachside activities; and monitors pool and surrounding areas to assure safety of users. Lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications required. Full-Time, Part-Time or Casual hours available.
Tennis Court Attendant/Instructor (Casual)
The Tennis Court Attendant/Instructor facilitates tennis and fills in as a partner as needed (only while on duty). Must have tennis skills (preferably 4.0+) and a working knowledge of the game of tennis (scoring, rules, etc.). This position also provides routine maintenance including brushing courts and sweeping tennis area to maintain a neat, clean and safe environment.
Successful candidates will be certified (USPTA or USPTR) and CPR/First Aid certified. For qualified applicants with a desire to provide instruction, a coaching certificate from the USTA and certification from (USPTA or USPTR) is required. Employees also have an opportunity to earn more money by stringing rackets. This position will be scheduled Monday (8am-Noon) and Thursday (12pm – 8pm). Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of professionals and individuals of diverse backgrounds and age groups.
Swim Instructor (Part-time/Casual)
Looking for a certified swim instructor to provide swim and water safety instruction to people of all ages. Creates a positive learning environment and closely supervises swimmers. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of professionals and individuals of diverse backgrounds. Swim instructor certification, lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certifications required.
Waithelp/Servers (Full-Time, Part-Time and Part-time Evenings)
Provides food & beverage service to members and guests and performs as back-up to other positions. Food server experience desired, customer service experience required.
Greens Keeper I (Full-Time)
Duties include golf course turf and landscaping maintenance. Requires experience performing landscaping/grounds maintenance duties, utilizing related trade tools (weed eater, machete, mower, edger, etc.) and the ability to lift 30 – 50 pounds. The successful candidate will also have the ability to work independently and be detail oriented. Golf course experience a plus.
