The Janitor position is responsible for maintaining the clean appearance of The Club by attending to janitorial needs. Duties include, but are not limited to, wiping/cleaning mirrors; mopping up spills; vacuuming; emptying trash; sweeping; and cleaning windows/screens. Other responsibilities include washing/folding towels; monitoring/stocking locker room and bathroom
The Steward is responsible for setting up/breaking down banquets and buffets; removing soiled dishes and serving equipment; and monitoring tables during events to replenish food and tableware. The Steward is also responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and decorum. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of professionals and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Line Cook (PM Shift)
Duties include preparing and cooking meals; maintaining established food quality standards and consistency of menu items; and adhering to state sanitation standards. Must have excellent knife skills, familiarity of duties in all areas of the kitchen and the ability to multi-task. Formal culinary education preferred.
AM Baker (Full-Time)
The AM Baker is responsible for mixing, prepping and baking doughs, batters, pastries and quick breads; preparing, plating and plattering all desserts and pastries for day of/next day events; keeping track of production and discard dates of all items with emphasis on product quality; keeping up with inventory pars of ala carte items; communicating clearly on daily tasks and needs with the Pastry Chef and Executive Chef; completing daily tasks in a timely manner; and keeping tools, equipment and work area clean. The AM Baker must have the ability to read and follow recipes accordingly; ensure products are fully cooked/baked; good organization; ability to meet guidelines provided; ability to multi-task; ability to adapt to member needs at a moment’s notice; creativity in creating new pastries; ability to measure ingredients properly and according to recipe guidelines; and the ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
In addition to the skills above, the AM Baker must also have knowledge of basic baking techniques and methods including various dough and batter methods; biscuit method; tempering, folding, creaming method; familiarity with soft and hard crack sugar methods; proofing of pastry and bread doughs; familiarity with breakfast pastries with the ability to roll a variety of croissants and danishes. A minimum of 3 years of previous experience is required.
Waithelp/Servers (Full-Time, Part-Time and Part-time Evenings)
Provides food & beverage service to members and guests and performs as back-up to other positions. Food server experience desired, customer service experience required.
Greens Keeper I (Full-Time)
Duties include golf course turf and landscaping maintenance. Requires experience performing landscaping/grounds maintenance duties, utilizing related trade tools (weed eater, machete, mower, edger, etc.) and the ability to lift 30 – 50 pounds. The successful candidate will also have the ability to work independently and be detail oriented. Golf course experience a plus.
